Ms. Qureshi focuses her practice on the representation of banks and institutional lenders in a variety of commercial real estate financing transactions. Her practice involves construction, acquisition, refinancing, and permanent financing loans utilizing multiple types of financing structures. She has a national practice with experience including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, multifamily housing, low-income housing tax credits, municipal bonds, loan assignments, healthcare accounts receivable financing, and government mortgage backed securities.
Prior to joining Krooth & Altman, Ms. Qureshi worked on Capitol Hill as a member of the staff of Senator Edward M. Kennedy and with the United States Senate Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on Antitrust and Business Competition as the Keenen Peck/Bob LaFollette Legal Fellow for Senator Herb Kohl. Ms. Qureshi was also a judicial intern for Judge Ronna Lee Beck of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
