Mr. Barsky is a managing partner of the firm. He has a diverse practice involving all facets of FHA multifamily housing and healthcare mortgage loan transactions. Many of these transactions involve tax exempt bond financing, secondary financing and low income housing tax credits. He represents and counsels clients with regard to the purchase and sale of loan and servicing portfolios, warehouse lending and other secondary market activities, and assists and advises clients in their acquisition or sale of existing projects. He also represents clients in connection with Fannie Mae DUS loans. Mr. Barsky has extensive experience in restructuring non-performing mortgages, including loan modifications and partial payments of claim. He also represents clients in administrative actions brought by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and counsels clients in the perfection of claims for FHA multifamily mortgage insurance.
